Tsambica beach

Sandy and golden beaches, among the most enchanting of the island

Tsambika Beach is located along the eastern coast of the island, 26 kilometers south of Rhodes City and near the village of Archangelos. It is surrounded by mountain headlands.

Tsambika is a place with sandy and golden beaches, among the most enchanting of the island. It takes its name from the Byzantine monastery dedicated to the Virgin. The monastery can be reached through its 297 steps that allow you to enjoy a breathtaking view of the bay, from the top of the 340 meters hill.

The coastline, nestled among imposing rocky headlands, is formed by fine golden sand, with a beach 800 meters long and a turquoise water, transparent, crystalline, shallow and therefore ideal for children. The beach is equipped, and offers the opportunity to practice various water sports. Behind it are several taverns. Nearby, near the bus stop, there is also a mini-market.
